Puerto Rico Payroll

We are a USA based company with expereince in the 48 states, and have been running our own internal payroll for the past 35 years.  We have now begun operations in Puerto Rico andnot knowing what we dont know, we hired ADP to help start up our payroll for our Puerto Rico employees.  Its been awful working with them (ADP) and we are now considering bringing the payroll processing back in house.  I have searched the knowledge base and Sage Univeristy looking for pointers on how to run a successful payroll for Puerto Rico operations but am coming up empty.  Does anyone have recommendations on where to start or learning resources?  Want to make sure our tax processing and tax payments are accraute because we understand PR to be a completely different animal.
