Direct deposit pay stubs

What are people using for direct deposit pay stubs? Just a stub? A stub with a $0 check? Pre-printed?

  • Linette,

You have multiple options depending on your initial investment and desired outcome.

You can order pre-printed Direct Deposit stock that can have a perforation if desired.  You can then print to that stock using Sage's canned/default Check formats.  You can also have a custom report created to offer more flexibility.  This is generally done using Crystal Reports as Deb mentions.  If you choose to go with the Crystal Reports (or custom report) path, you can also print on plain paper.  As for your copy, you also have options of printing 2 copies, printing one and keeping a portion or simply running reports or reprinting when needed.  With custom reporting, you are able to have much more control over the design of the Pay Stub.  It generally will be determined by how much information do you want to provide your Employees on their Pay Notification.

For electronic delivery, again several options.  Sage offers Sage My Assistant which can be configured to automatically email each employee their copy of their Pay Notification and can be configured to require a password.  HH2 is a company that offers Time Keeping processes that integrates with Sage 300 CRE and also offers the ability to email Pay Notifications to Employees.  There are other choices as well.

I would recommend reaching out to your Business Partner of record, or you can contact me directly if you have more questions.
