Create a Check

SOLVED

Hello!

Our accounting person is out and I need to print checks.  Anyone have a process for Sage 300 that uses Create a Check.  I don't have a log in for Create a Check, but it is one my desktop.  I was hoping it just needed a driver, but someone thinks I need a log in for it.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?  I don't even know who would provide a log in for Create a Check.  Any help would be appreciated.

You will need the login and password in order to print checks, it's not just loading a driver. You could try calling Create a Check (Avid) to see if they could help. You print using the piracle printer which sends it to create-a-check which will then ask for the login and password before it will print.

If you are printing checks out of Sage my understanding is that you will need these items:

    • Sage 300 CRE installed
    • Sage user account with access to print checks
    • PVP print driver installed on the Sage 300 CRE client machine (Piracle Printer)
    • Driver for your physical printer installed on the Sage 300 CRE client machine
    • Create-A-Check login

With this, you then can print checks from Sage 300 CRE to the Piracle Printer from the Sage GUI. If working properly you will be prompted to login to Create-A-Check and are ultimately able to print to the physical printer.

If there are issues with this I would think your best bet would be working with Create-A-Check support as suggested by Barb.

Thank you everyone! Crisis Averted!  We were able to get logged in and print the checks.  It did require a log in and the piracle driver installed which I was able to obtain.   This community is awesome.  Thank you for the help!
