When I check the "use W-4 amounts" in employee setup, do I need to clear out the old exemptions box? For example, I have an employee who claimed Married filing jointly w/ 2 exemptions in 2019. He filled out a new form claiming Married filing jointly w/ $8,000 in Step 3, line 1 for 2020. When I click the "use w-4 amounts" in his setup, the exemption box remains. Should I clear it out or leave as is?
