While I'm complaining about poor decisions, how about don't phone home with every Sage client install?

If someone can't get to the Sage pages in the Desktop client and they REALLY want to, they'll ask their IT department for help. Pre-emptively pinging with some random unsigned tool makes security notifications go off.

Doing something like this from the logged in users' local profile is exactly where malicious software would work from. We really do have enough on our plate without some stupid thing like this popping up and having to investigate. 

A lot of companies are getting bad press for being so fast and loose with tracking (e.g. Apple), please don't do things like this without some consideration.
