Job Status

SOLVED

The 3 Basic Job Statuses are not enough for me.  Everytime I run a WIP, etc. it pulls everything that is In Progress.  But if I close the job (during closeout for example) then we cannot continue to enter costs, etc. I'm guessing there is no way to add another Job Status in 300 CRE

So, I went ahead and closed a bunch of jobs - then got a call from my Data Entry person entering AmEx credit card transactions, she cannot pull up the job (one of the same jobs that I closed).  So unless Credit Cards are different, that didn't help.  I also wonder if I will have the same issue with Payroll hours trying to go to a closed job??   This is why I need a category in between....

    Hi NPCM,

That is correct, closing the job removes it from selection lists, so you have to manually enter the job ID. You will also get a warning that the job is closed.

If there is a large amount of data entry that needs to be done on the job, it may be better to leave it open and use the workaround to flag the jobs an Pending Close.
