Sage CRE 300 License Admin Stopped Working

I noticed that Sage.CRE300.LicenseAdmin is consistently generating critical events on our Windows 2016 server. Has anyone else experienced this problem, or have any recommended solutions? The critical event is generated at midnight and I believe it may be interfering with our backup software. My guess is that the license admin is interfering with our backup software and is trying to communicate with the sage server at the same time. I changed our backup schedule to test this theory, however; the problems are still occurring. Are there any specific ports that need to be open on the firewall for the license admin program to communicate with sage? Is it possible for me to change the time that the license admin is trying to communicate with sage? In the past I have encountered similar issues with other software that is a result of high communication attempts all being attempted at the same time.
