The inquiries you referred to look at the Job field on the JC Commitment record. If there is more than one job on a commitment, that field is left blank.

If you have multiple jobs on a commitment, some reports and inquiries would need to be customized to look at the job on the Commitment Item instead of the Commitment.

An option to consider in the future is using Extras in job cost. Extras are used to track cost and revenue for parts of a job. In your case, The Property would be the job where you could track costs and revenue for the property as a whole, and each building would be an Extra, where you can track costs and revenue specific to the building, all under the umbrella of the job.
