Letterhead Specs for Report Designer

SOLVED

Hi Everyone!!

We just launched a new logo and I am trying to put it into our reports in Timberline.
In order to do it, I go into the report designer > options> letterhead and change the link.

HOWEVER, all of the logos that we tried either have a black background or a gray/yellow background in it.
I am trying to get my hand on the specs that work best, but haven't been able to find it anywhere.

Can anyone help me?

We spent all this money on a new logo, so we want it to look crisp and clean on our reports for subs and bills for clients!

Thanks!

Cassy

Click the "Help" button  on the screen where you chose the option to "Use the letterhead image below . . ". From the text within the Help screen that appears, click the link "Letterhead" and you will see listed the acceptable file formats for your logo. FYI, the letterhead logo appears only on specific Crystal Reports that contain a link to the logo specified in the file path of your designated logo file.

    Art,

I had found the file type, I was hoping someone had a specific file size that works well. We have tried both a png and jpg but neither look entirely correct.

    Thanks,
    Cassy

Cassy, go to the Knowledgebase and search for Article D:35795 How do I increase or decrease my company logo letterhead size for Crystal Reports.  The file resolution and correct sizing are important, as the logo placement in the Crystal Report design specifies the size of the logo file, and if your file doesn't match that size, it will be distorted as Crystal Reports stretches it to fit in the image box provided by the report design.
