Backup Sage 100 Contractor 2014?

Question

Hey Everyone, 
 
 First time post here any help would be appreciated. I am running an old version of sage 100 contractor. I want to upgrade to the latest version but I don't think the version I am running is on SQL. Could anyone provide some sort of guidance? What I am looking to do is backup the company file and then upgrade to the latest version of Sage 100.

If your icons are orange yellow and green you will have to be upgraded to 19.8 before you can migrate over to SQL. Go to home and resources. About Sage 100 Contractor and tell me the version at the top. I have most if the versions and can help you out. How many main companies and archives fo you have that you want migrated?

Ok you will need to upgrade it to 19.8 in order to migrate it 
 make sure your IT people check your server and workstation requirements. Many need to upgrade those first.

Log into your Sage customer portal. Go to the knowledgebase. Search 19.8 download. If you don't have a customer portal account, sign up for it. It is a VERY useful tool
