Is here a way to add another payroll rate to an employee? We pay 2.00 more hourly on weekends.
Mary- You should be able to use the shift differential for that. See Knowledge Base article #67707 "How to set up shift differential". When you do a time card entry, specify the shift differential for the those hours.
Thanks,
Coleen
Yes, that is what I did, however on the employee pay stub it does not show the shift differentials . It lumps it as on "Regular Pay". I want to shoe the differentials broken out on the Employee pay stub.
Mary-
This will also not help with displaying the separate rate on the check pay stub, but you can also use the Standard Rate ID #43516 "How to set up hourly standard rates in payroll". Although both of these options will not separate the rate on the check pay stub, they do separate them on the voucher. You can print the PR, Report, Check Voucher to show the different pay rates.
Sincerely,
Coleen
