External Invoicing

Because we don't want our sales guys messing up inventory but need them to invoice while on the road to keep their truck inventory correct, we have been using invoiceasap for the sales guys but then have been entering another invoice into BW.  I'm new to the company and BW and this seems like way too much duplication work.  Is there a program that works with BW, where we could invoice and then just import the file at the end of the day?  Or does BW have a mobile app?  Thoughts or suggestions appreciated.

    Unfortunately, I am not familiar with the invoiceasap software and it’s relationship with the BusinessWorks Accounting software. Although BusinessWorks does not allow you to import an Order entry invoice directly into the program, BusinessWorks will allow you to import in a Sales Order (like a pre-Invoice).  Then once in BusinessWorks you can easily convert that Sales Order to an Invoice.  For importing Sales Orders into Sage BusinessWorks, please refer to  Knowledge Base article How to import quotes and sales orders (#31717)

     

    BusinessWorks does not have a mobile app. We do have some outside developers/resellers who have software and developed links for their software to post into BusinessWorks. In addition, some of the eCommerce developers, like Crocker & Associates, may even be able develop custom software for your company that posts into Sage BusinessWorks.  The full list of all third party solutions that will work with Sage BusinessWorks can be located at our website: http://www.sagepss.com/Solutions.aspx?p=27

    Coleen,  The web site database seems very outdated. Most developers are listing compatibility with BW 2009, 2010 2013.  Is it time to re-query the 3rd parties for there current offerings and update the database?
