Does upgrading from 2019.1 to 2019.2 require a "data conversion" of each company file as some upgrades have in the past. I'm asking for planning purposes so we can allocate the appropriate amount to time to do the upgrade. Thanks!
This upgrade does not require data conversion, but you will need to update each computer before being able to access the company in a shared environment.
When will the next tax service update be released?
Hello Chris Butler,
We are currently targeting to release the next tax update sometime in June, pending receipt of some State Revenue and Employment Authority documentation.
Is Sage going to offer a state and local tax rate add-on or upgrade that deals with all the 33 states and their local tax jurisdictions that will start collection of sales taxes from out-of-state vendors? This is a big issue already since California required sales tax collection immediately on April 1 of this year for 400 jurisdictions. How will Sage address the huge concern?
