We have recently renewed our Sage 50 in the last week or two and it is now telling us we have 13 days and our system will be view only? We have manually tried to update and it does not work. I have been on hold with support for over an hour. Our service rep (Ty Upshaw) has been non responsive....

Sorry that you are experiencing issues with upgrading the software. I just sent you a private message requesting you privately send your contact information to me so that I can pass it along to our Support staff to assist you.
As far as I am concerned the issue is not resolved. What I gather from this thread is that Sage has no idea what to do about it. I have attempted a half dozen times to upgrade in the past few months including today. The system freezes and won't even load pervasive. Now I am being told that I MUST upgrade by March 15 or I will be removed from Sage altogether. Great. Just shut me down because YOU can't get the system to either download or activate. What a total ripoff. Also, I am an accountant, not a tech expert. I don't even understand the articles we are being referred to. It appears we are being left to swing in the wind with no recourse.
Sage 50 Acconting You cannot quit sage 50 accounting because a dialog is active. Switch to sage 50 acconting first and close the dialog.
There wa a problem with the activation files for sage 50.you will need to activate the program again.

When I try to activate from my workstation I am told I only have ONE activation try left. What does this mean, Am I screwed if I use the last activation?

Trying to get year-end financials done before a big board meeting. Very frustrating not being able to activate. Can't believe how long this has been down.
