Hello

We are upgrading from 2014 to 2018 Jan MU this weekend. I am finding that in order for users to run Sage they need to be admins on their machines. This is not good. I hope that I am wrong and someone has an idea of what I am missing.

What operating system(s) are the clients? Did you install as "Run As Administrator" when you installed? You may log into Windows 10 as an administrator, but you still need to install programs with "Run as Administrator". Also ensure UNC is turned off as well.

we are running windows 10 pro. i signed in as domain admin to install the client. turned off UAC and updated register value here:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, SOFTWARE, Microsoft, Windows, CurrentVersion, policies, system
