What happens to a Work Order if a Routing becomes inactive?

SUGGESTED

Work order was created and then a month later the Routing/Version was made 'inactive' but the Work order wasn't finished. Would this cause any issues with the Schedule generation? Or does the routing only need to be active when the WO is created.

In general in Sage 500 ERP, active flags stop new document creations but do not stop posting/processing of existing documents.  If you find that there is a flag that does not allow posting/processing in one area, but stops posting/processing in another area, please contact your Sage partner or contact Sage Support.

So in this case, I would think that an inactive routing should not be allowed to create a new work order, but any work order bases upon the routing that was created prior to making the routing should be allowed to be processed.
