Sage CRM Workstation Setup Not Connecting To Sage CRM Web Services

Hi,

Someone changed the accpac crm workstation setup configaration in my client site.When im test my connection using workstation setup option under sage crm in sage accpac its giving error "cannot logging to crm web services".Previously sage accpac crm workstation setup logon user was "CRM".i made it as a CRM again but it not communicating with crm web services.how can i resolve this?see attached Image.

Hi there,

Your error message doesn't show up in your post. However, you need to make sure it is pointing to the right CRM server. When it says cannot log on to CRM webservices, does it say "Invalid user name or password" after that? If not, then you will have to double check your CRM server name and install name, and make sure CRM webservice is enabled. To do so, logon to CRM and go to Administration->System Behavior-> Web services, and see if "Enable web services" is set to Yes.

If it does complain about invalid username and password, you will have to make sure the password is indeed correct in CRM. The "CRM" account by default doesn't have any password, so you can go back in there and reset the password to whichever you like, and resave it afterwards on the Accpac side.
