AP control account YE error batch

Question

Deleted AP "Cannot post to a future year" error batch generated by the system (though a new fiscal year was already open). The entry was generated when cheque payment was posted. 
 Now, AP subledger doesn't balance with GL. 
 What is the best solution to fix this? Cannot post an entry through GL since AP account is a control account.

Look up the original data inside APPJH and APPJD, then enter the GL batch manually.

You'll need to remove the Control Account tick option for any accounts in question before adding the GL entry - or temporarily add GL to the list of Subledger items. Once done, you can proceed with Jay's solution below. If you're unable to view the tables, you can get at the required data by printing the Payment Batch posting journal.
