Sage 300 2016 with SQL Server 2017

Does Sage 300 2016 work with SQL Server 2017? I have a client that does not want to upgrade their Sage 300, but has other SQL based software that wants to upgrade to SQL Server 2017. Is anyone running Sage 300 2016 with SQL Server 2017?

While it would probably work., it is not officially supported and we would not recommend it.

Mind you, Sage 300 2016 is no longer officially supported either. Perhaps they should upgrade to Sage 300 2019. That is definitely compatible with SQL 2017.

It runs fine. Sage is a very simple MSSQL creature.
