Designer not Licensed/Report Designer License Required Error in Excel on two workstations running Sage Intelligence Reports. There are another 2 workstations that can run the Sage Intelligence Reports with no Problems.

 The client was upgraded to Sage 300 ERP 2020 and this resolved the issue.

I agree with Luke, you need to get Sage Support to troubleshoot. However, on the surface, it does sound like a permissions issue; where one Windows user has full permissions, and the second user has improper permissions. This means that the first user is able to access the purchased BI licenses, but the second user, due to improper permissions, is unable to access the underlying folders properly including the BI license files and therefore only is able to see/use the BI licenses that come with the system for "free". A quick work-around, until you can get Sage Support to help you troubleshoot the specifics, is to open Sage by doing a right-click on the Sage Icon and selecting "Run as Admin". This at least temporarily lends the Sage program the permissions it needs to properly read the BI Licenses. Once you do this, the License Manager should state Remote Designer Licensed: YES. However, it is obviously best to fix the underlying problem properly by contacting Sage Support & doing whatever they suggest for the specifics of your situation, which may be redoing the Window's user permissions, or something else.
