GL Account Description

The GL account description is not pulling into my newly created balance sheet report.

When I put in the formula =GLAccountDescription300("SAMINC", $B10) into my cell, when I run the report the account description is not pulling in, I just see the formula as typed.

What am I doing wrong?

    Hi JDouglas,

    Check the data type of the cell you're entering the formula into. If the cell is of type "Text" then you will see the formula and not the result of the formula. Try changing this to "General" in the Excel ribbon instead.
