I can’t see what is different but something makes the customer file not recognizable by Sage.
I have three CSV files:
- the first file is recognized by Sage - it was generated by exporting from Sage originally
- the second file isn't recognizable by Sage
- If I take a line from the 2nd file and paste it into the first file - the first file remains recognizable by sage
Visually there is no difference between the first and second file
When working with Excel format I have found this same issue when the worksheets are not named correctly and the name manager portion not setup correctly. But with CSV I don't know of anything equivalent. It is like the file won't be recognized but the contents are correct. Is there something that needs to be correct for a single CSV format that I am missing? There doesn't appear to be a way to upload the files for people to review and perhaps catch my error. So hopefully someone else has ran into this
