Great question! We are in the process of converting our VPF implementation from Flash to HTML5! This will be available in our 2021.1 (Sage 300 2021 PU1) release during the November 2020 timeframe. We have successfully converted the "presenter" (the actual usage of the VPF) and are now working on the editor capabilities.

That is great news, but what about those running v2020 and v2019?  A Product Update I hope???

And having a field to hold arguments for program icons that work like the Desktop icons would be great.  Would love to pass $objecthandle$ through a VPF icon.

We will have those. We have been able to launch EXEs, OCXs, etc. from the new viewer. We've also added or corrected the inability to pass an argument to an OCX so that we can pass in context to the object (i.e. 1200 for Ronald Black as a Customer)

Since we support N-2 I believe we will (we have been concentrating on making it work first).

Hope all is well. I see this conversation of 4 months ago. Any feedback for version 2019 and 2020 regarding VPF to assist with the custom flows? As I do see for 2019 version there is till PU 7 but no other updates nor hotfixes.

I saw this discussion. on Sage 300 2021 PU1 allowing for Edit. But I've test this and it is not allowing edit.

I'm I missing something?

Hey, the VPF presenter was updated to HTML5 in 2021.1 and the latest PUs for 2020 and 2019. The VPF editor will be functional in 2021.2 (to be released in April) as well as the current PUs for 2020 and 2019 at that time.

We have instructed each user to create a folder and copy their shortcuts into that location. It works better in many respects as shortcuts can be copied from multiple  modules.
