Did you ever figure this out.  It should be doable without PrintBoss.  For most of my clients the attached pdf has the file name - ARDINVO.rpt for example.  So  I can change that to what I want.  For one client however, the file name is tmp.....   If you did figure this out  I'd be interested to know how you resolved it.

Good Morning Beth, fyi, we recently completed a project that delivered a razor-templated html email, with associated text version, optional inclusion of a dynamically-named report for Invoice (Order Confirmation & Shipment Advice workflows also available). This is a workflow package built within our EnableTRANS framework and can be run ad-hoc, or via scheduled service with logging and notifications. The emails to send and the templated data are provided via a query & advanced transformation pipeline. Shipment Advices or Invoices can also include the carriers shipment tracking link. So, there are more advanced email pipelines available, but delivered as 3rd-party packages or customizations however.
