UNIT OF MEASURE CONVERSION FACTOR

SOLVED

Hi All,

i'm feeling lost and think I've just confused myself.

We bring an item in and receive it as LBS, we stock it as FT.

1 FT = .379166 lbs

Example:

Receive 364LBS - I want inventory to read 960 FT.

I'm just not sure if SAGE divides when converting to the stocking unit or multiplies?

Meaning not sure if i should be using:

UM: FT Conversion Factor: 1 Stocking Unit of Measure Yes

UM: LB Conversion Factor: 0.379166 Stocking Unit of Measure: No

OR

UM: FT Conversion Factor: 1 Stocking Unit of Measure Yes

UM: LB Conversion Factor: 2.63736 Stocking Unit of Measure: No

Currently this has been a 1 to 1 ratio which is very much wrong and keeps messing up my inventory (this is internal part so it hasn't gone corrected).

Thanks for your help.
