Client started Payroll part way through the year.  We have been entering employee history for the first part of the year but have run into a problem.  With CPP, some of the employees have reached the maximum deduction on a previous payroll on the other system.  We are finding that Sage's payroll is calculating deduction amounts for CPP even though we have filled in the fields in Employee History for the CPP Tax.  We are finding that no matter what combination of earnings/ceiling wage/no ceiling wage has any affect on the calculation.

Has anyone found where the amounts should be entered?  

We know that we can delete the CPP code from the employee to eliminate the calculation, but there must be a place to have history taken into the calculation.
