Upgraded a Sage 300 2017 install on Server 2012 R2 to 2019.
Historically, the server installs were done to UNC paths - both for the programs and the data - with no issues that I am aware of.
We discovered that this will not not allow the new (to us) Global Search to work, so we reinstalled with the program path set to a local path on the server, but with the data folder as a UNC.
Now I am finding that I am unable to run any of the Change programs - e.g. Account Code change, Vendor Number change etc.
I am trying to run from the server remotely as ADMIN and as a user with the correct security rights - don't currently have access to try from a workstation.
Everything else (including Global Search) seems OK.
I have checked the folder and share permissions - everything seems fine.
Could this also be related to the UNC path used for the data folder on the server install? It has never caused an issue before.
I noticed that during the install, the Change programs were installing the the UNC path instead of to the C:\ACCPAC path that is set for the programs.
