I downloaded and installed the update.  The Bank Feeds isn't working.  In the Reconcile E-Statement screen, the Bank Feed options do not show up.  I called Tech Support and the support rep isn't seeing it as well.  He is investigating.

Hi ReyC.  Did you get anywhere with this?  I'm testing Bank Feeds and getting the same issue where there are no options to Connect Bank Feed on the Reconcile E-Statements (classic screen).

I was told that the Bank Feeds module will only be available if you have the subscription license.  Our Partners' license is not subscription so it is not available to us.  I don't know if this is by design or if this is a flaw that they are going to fix.  

That sounds like a flaw that needs to be fixed.  Especially given that there is no subscription product available for our customers in UK and Europe. 

I think part of the problem is the 2020.2 installer does not create a Bank Cloud license file in the Shared Data directory, so there's no where to enter the serial/activation number.

So, you don't even see the Bank Cloud as being licensed unless the Entitlements file refreshes (which, may or may not include a Bank Feeds license, depending on your situation). Similar to other screen options, I'm guessing the Connect Bank Feed controls don't show if no Bank Cloud license is present in Shared Data.

Not sure if this is by design, or a flaw with the installer...

Thanks Paul.  I might be wrong, but I understand it is an enhancement to the existing bank services so doesn't require additional serial/activations.

For what it's worth, the handful of 300c clients that I have looked up show a "Sage 300c Premium Banking Cloud" serial number and activation code on their account (in addition to 'Subscription Features')

The installer does not create the Entitlements file if we use our Partner's activation codes.

Yes, what Rey is describing is correct. Partners are not currently able to use or demo Bank Feeds due to Partner licenses. This is detailed in Partner KB Article 104498. If you log-in to the Sage KB as a Partner, you will see the KB with more information.

Again, I just want to re-iterate that everything I am saying applies for NA customers and partners only. UK and other countries need to talk to their Account Manager for information specific to your region.

Thanks.  That shows my ignorance.  We are not allowed the subscription here in UK and Europe so don't have any great knowledge of the how that licensing works. 

Rachel - that webinar was yesterday.  Searching the KB on 104498 yields no results.

Hi Jim Love - You need to be logged in as a Sage Partner to be able to see that specific article. The article really just states that Partners are unable to demo Bank Feeds, because Bank Feeds is only available to subscription customers and Partners are currently set up with perpetual licenses. Product Management is aware of this and working on a long-term solution. Thanks!

Also what is "Subscription Features"? I installed PU2 for Sage 300 2020 and it is now saying I have unregistered application. I cannot find this anywhere on the portal for serial number and activation code:

Stephen - How are you finding that article?  Is there a trick to search by article number?

Subscription Features is a new license starting in v2020.2 for subscription customers. The first feature included that is available to customers is the General Ledger integration with Tax Services. Right now that is the only feature included in this license, but the list will be growing in future releases in order to simplify the release process for features only available to subscription customers.

Our internal team is looking into this error message with your account number as we speak, so i will update you right as I find out more.

Thank you Rachel. I am a business partner so might be related to that perpetual licensing v/s subscription.

Nothing special.  I just logged in and put the KB number in the search box as shown here.

Can you let me know if you are still receiving the same message? It sounds like a few orders didn't automatically process on our side, but they have now been manually corrected.

Since you have a BP perpetual license, you have a 30-day temporary Subscription Features license added to your account. If you enter the license information for SF in license manager, the license will become permanent.

Hi Jim Love - If you are logged in, you should be able to see it by searching like that. I am thinking a permission may be missing from your online account that ensures you can see Partner-only content. Can you send me an email at [email protected] with your username that you log-in to the Portal and KB with? I can troubleshoot with you that way and fix the problem.
