I had a issue yesterday where I had to run the payroll tax calculation from the server instead of the workstation.  My guess is because that workstation was slow.  You MIGHT try it just to see if that works on this one.

Did you ever get this fixed?

Had this happen today, after trying everything Sage finally found it to be that one of our employees had an empty Hire Date on their record.  Added that and everything started working.  Might be something as simple as that.

Use the Payroll Status Check Utility in the Utilities folder. Click directly on the Warning or Errors text to see the details. 

Thanks for the post we received this same error when trying to run the Tax Calculation.  I checked the hire dates and two of our employees had empty hire dates as well.  Added that info and everything processed fine.  The odd part is that these were old employees and I don't have a clue as to how this information was removed.

Same error two employees did not have hire dates, added this and error went away.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. This Error 65 issue will be resolved in the next release of Sage 100 Payroll 2.22.1, scheduled to be released in March. In the mean time, the workaround is to enter a Hire Date in Employee Maintenance.
