We are running Sage 100 2017. We have two companies with payroll in each.  There is a 401K plan in each company and the deduction codes for each company are set up identically.  On one company, the 401K deductions are not being reduced for the FICA calculation, which is correct.  On the other company, the 401K deduction is reducing the wages before calculation the FICA calculation.  Again, the set up is the same.  The only boxes checked are the Reduce Taxable Income for Withholding, not any of the other boxes.  Can anyone tell me why they would act differently?  Thanks.
