I can't recommend anyone to help you with the conversion.  But please post back how the move goes and if you are happy with sage 100 .  I am very interested in how the move goes as we maybe faced with a similar move one day.

I recommend transferring just the master info and open balances. Transferring detail can be problematic since you have a short window to make ( and review/check )  detail. Keep DacEasy around for lookup. 

 Sage 100cloud Visual Integrator is the tool you can use to import master info as well as opening balances ( AP, AR, GL ). 

Aren't you working with a Sage 100 consultant already to implement your system? They should have data conversion experience. Converting history is not exactly easy, because there are so many data files involved. However, it's not impossible, but doing so means more time, and more time means more money.

Exactly.  Sage 100 is not DIY software (especially in a Manufacturing environment) and you'll need the assistance of a skilled partner / consultant.
