I didn't run into this exact issue, but it's close.  I changed my permission to not be able to view the PII data.  When I went into Bank Code Maintenance I saw the bank code as *****NNNNN.  I changed the permission back to where I could see the PII data and when I went into Bank Code Maintenance, all of the leading zeroes of the bank account number were missing.

I'm following up to see if there is any resolution to this case.  My client had their ACH file rejected today and it was because the bank account number had been modified without anyone actually modifying it.  My guess is that someone without access to PII got into Bank Code Maintenance and the data was changed again by the program.  Any update would be appreciated.

Just following up to see if there has been any resolution to this issue.  I just had it happen to another client of mine.  The bank account number in Bank Account Maintenance had asterisks in it and their Positive Pay file was rejected.

There is a beta fix that we are testing with some customers that have reported this issue and are hoping it will prevent the Bank Account Records from getting written incorrectly.

I have a client on 2019.3 that went live (upgraded from v2016) on 4/17/2020.  Their last good Positive Pay file was generated 4/29/2020.  Their next file, generated 5/4, has the bank account encrypted.  Note:  Period End Processing for AP/AR/IM/SO/PO was run 4/30.

What is the status of this fix?  I'll open a case.  Shall I reference Beth's or BirdDog's case(s)?
