We have items that used to come in lots from the vendor. A big example for us are electrical safety gloves. The vendor is now assigning serial numbers and barcodes to each glove, and we want to use these to keep better track.

We have 2 main issues to tackle:

1) We still have some inventory that was received as a Lot, and now have started to receive inventory that's serialized (will be all serial going forward)

2) We need to retain Item History

I've been thinking of the Delete/Change Items Utility, which worked in a similar way that we're expecting in this context. Is there a utility for this purpose? If not, what are some suggested workarounds?
