Sage 100: Families First Coronavirus Response Act (H.R. 6201)

On March 18, 2020, the US Federal Government passed the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (H.R. 6201), which has several implications for payroll processing. Sage 100 is currently working on a solution for fulfilling the requirements of this new legislation, and we aim to have tax updates and documentation available to support the legislative changes no later than Friday, April 3, 2020.

  • I have seen the update and the "How do I set up to pay employees......." I'm still not quite clear on the setup.  I was going to set up one Rate that we will have with the new earning tax rules.  I'm guessing I need a Rate code for Emerg Paid FML and one for Emer Paid Sick leave self and a third rate for Emer Paid sick leave others, correct?  Because we have to set each of those up with the 4 different medicare, ss taxes depending on which of the three applies?
