  • Kathleen,

This kind of one-off announcement is nice for big / high-profile issues, but is there a list somewhere with ALL the v2019 program fixes available?  Or a way to search the KB to find ALL available fixes for a version / patch level?

There is a "List of fixes" on the v2019 download page, but it is backwards.  I don't care what is resolved in the release, I need to know what issues have been discovered AFTER the release, with any applicable program fixes that are available to install when deploying v2019.

The last thing we want is to be reactive and wait until the pain of a known issue is felt, only to find out later that a program fix was available before we went Live.

    Please advise.

    Hi Kevin,

Thank you so much for your feedback. At this time, there is not a single document that has a list of all program fixes available for any version. I do list all Program Fixes here on Sage City, no matter how large or high-profile. That being said, I can understand how trying to look through everything posted in an attempt to get a list of what is available could be very time consuming, and I certainly wouldn't expect you to have this list memorized for each install that you do.

I have made a change to the Sage 100 2019 Download article in order to accommodate what you are looking for. Since all of the "fixed in this release" items are listed in the release notes, I removed the large majority of them from the article. I have also added the Program Fixs for 2019 that is available at this time for 2019 to the "known issues" area of the article. Each time a Program Fix becomes available for any version, I will add it to the "known issues" area of the download that it is available for going forward.

    Kathleen,

Thank you very much!  This is very helpful, and the most intuitive place for such a list!

Can this be done for product updates as well?  If there are hot-fixes after a PU is released, we will similarly need to know what fixes are available when deploying that version / PU level.  If the information is listed in the main download page, not the PU article, that is perfectly fine too... as long as the information is predictably available.  When installing v2018.6, I don't know what extra fixes might need to be installed.  After 2019.1 is released, I won't know about subsequent fixes unless a list is maintained...

Thinking things further, sometimes customer systems are locked into a specific version / PU due to custom programming, and casually updating their PU is not feasible.  Having the list for each supported version / PU level would be ideal... so if we ever have issues, we can check in one place what fixes might be available for that PU.

Again, I appreciate the quick action on this!

Kevin I will be sure to do the same with PUs, not just the original release. Slight smile

Perfect!  MUCH better and clearer document now.  VERY MUCH appreciated.

So very helpful if we know what hot fixes are needed for each of the PU's!   If you can do the same (take off the list of fixes) for Sage 2018 download article ID 87069, that'd be great. Thank you.

I took this one step further with a single page for the most relevant download info pertaining to 2019.

We get a lot of requests from IT departments and having the info on one page without needing to send them multiple lengthy URLs ( some of which are gated and create additional support requests for us to help them navigate the Sage KB )  has been a timesaver.
