Randy Jackson is CEO of Agate Consulting & Training Inc. and oversees the consulting, training, and customization, as well as service and support programs for a broad base of national and international clients. He enjoys assisting client staff in creating and building foundational tools and skills they can utilize daily to improve productivity and business management efficiency.

His education and background include studies in business and economics at Laurentian and Waterloo Universities, Sage Platinum Certified Consultant (since the 1990s), and Sage Certified Trainer (2010). With extensive experience in accounting, business knowledge, and financial software expertise using products such as Sage 50 Accounting— Canadian Edition (formerly Simply Accounting), Sage 300 (formerly Accpac), Sage BusinessVision Accounting, and Sage One, as well as QuickBooks and tax programs, he offers excellent strategies to understanding problems encountered regularly by small to large companies.

Randy has had the pleasure of working directly with the Sage product development team beta testing versions of Sage 50. Prior to being self-employed, he was the director of finance of an Ontario hospital, where he developed and implemented the hospital’s primary computer services department. When he’s not assisting customers, Randy enjoys gardening, reading, and travelling.


Located in Scarborough (Toronto), Ontario, Canada, Clyde Harris is the principal co-owner of Alwyn Enterprises along with his wife, Joan Chinnery. With more than 30 years of experience as bookkeepers for charities and small businesses, together they offer complete bookkeeping services to companies that include small manufacturers  and building contractors, clothing stores, and service  professionals, as well as nonprofit organizations.

 A member of the Sage Accountants Network and a Sage 50 Accounting—Canadian Edition Premier Advisor for the past 15 years, Clyde also hosts a workshop six times a year for church treasurers to help them keep up to date on both government and charity compliance issues.

While enjoying the work associated with Alwyn Enterprises, Clyde also spends significant hours in volunteer endeavors, including with Scouts Canada for more than 50 years as a volunteer leader. In 2010 Clyde was honored by Scouts Canada with the presentation of the Silver Acorn Medal for especially distinguished service to Scouting, and in 2011 Clyde received the Honourary Member Award for long and distinguished service to Scouting in Toronto.
