Adding territory rights to custom entities

I have been struggling with this and was hoping someone here could help me.

In our Sage CRM system we have added many custom entities. We have recently found that non-admin users of the system are unable to delete these custom entities. My investigations seem to suggest that this is due to a lack in territory rights, even though we cannot see or edit rights for these entities.

Is it possible to add the ability to see and edit territory rights for these custom entities? If so, how does one go about adding setting this up?

I will happily provide more details if they are required.
