Sage CRM - Exception in dotnetdll page : Interface not supported

Hello,

We have a Customer on Sage CRM 2017R3 (not ready to upgrade yet) and Sunday, after a server reboot, all custom DLL's stopped working.

Even the Out-of-the-box page "Related Entities" in the company tabs gives the same error.
"Exception in dotnetdll page : Interface not supported"

We tried the "Unregister / Register" of the DLL's as mentioned in the Developer Guide with no luck.
We made sure all Windows Update have been installed and still no luck.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Is anymore information provided in the logs?

Make sure that you have .Net logging switched to maximum.

The three main files are.

[date]dotnet.log
[date]ewaresql.log
[date]ewaresystem.log

Also you may want to list the version of the Windows Server you are using.

Thanks for the reply.

Server is Windows Server 2012 R2.
All logs are at Maximum level.

No errors found in the logs.

dotnet.log is not even created even after this error occurs.

This is starting to look like a change in your environment as the origin of the problem rather than something internal within Sage CRM.

Have you looked at the Windows Event Viewer to see if any system errors have occurred that would give you a clue?
