Find screens stopped working, no errors, no results

Just yesterday our CRM stopped returning any results from any Find screens, e.g. Company, Person, Opportunity, etc.  We have CRM's System and SQL logging to full, and neither showed any errors, nor did Windows' Application and System event logs, nor did SQL Server's server log.

I suspect it may be an unstable condition inside the eWare DLL which was not an exception, but this is just a guess.

So has anyone ever experienced anything similar to this?
