Leads Import - Timestamp Must be Mapped To

Question

I am running a Lead import for a client and it is requiring Lead_Timestamp to be mapped to. The issue is that this field is not available to be mapped to. I also can't find anywhere that it is required. SQL shows that it allows null. This system was set up on a very early version. 
 Has anyone run across this before and have a solution?

You have no doubt figured this out by now. If you review the standard fields on the New Lead page the Timestamp is not one of them:

 Each record has their own timestamp field

 Almost every table in CRM has a timestamp column and is automatically populated from the system date time 
 SELECT * FROM CRM.information_schema.columns 
 WHERE COLUMN_NAME LIKE '%timestamp' 
 ORDER BY table_name
