We currently use Sage 50. We are looking to add Sage CRM to the system. I am used to using systems like Eclipse or Accuterm. Does Sage CRM allow for actual customer notes to be inputted? I am also liking the mobile aspect of it.

I know Eclipse to be a Java development environment and AccuTerm is terminal emulation software. Sage CRM has the concept of free form notes that can be added to any of the main entities of the system. The best approach to using Mobile will depend on the devices being used (Tablet vs Phone), the need for offline and the need to use the integration with the accounting system.
