Creating New Tab For Opportunity

Can anyone help with how to create a new tab for an Opportunity or a Person entity?

    I really have given this my all trying to figure it out for myself but to no avail :(

    I'm trying to add a new tab to the Person Record. The tab would contain fields relating to the preferences of the person, let's say the tab would be called "Preferences".

    I understand that I could just add the fields to the PersonDetailBox, however there are over 50 fields in total, so it would be much more beneficial to use a separate tab.

    The information also needs to be merged to word to provide the sales rep with the Preferences Notes to take to the Demo.

    Under Customisation - Primary Entities - Person - Screens/Tabs there is no option to create a new screen or tab. I have looked through every thread I could find along with the Administrator and User guides. Is it because I am using the Cloud version that I cannot create Screens or Tabs? Or am I completely overlooking something?

    Any help would be much appreciated!

    Hello

    The Sage CRM cloud edition provides a much simpler experience. Although you can change the Opportunity tab group and you have the option to reorder and rename the tabs you do not have the ability to call new screens.

    Neither can you create new screens in the cloud edition.

    The on premise edition would allow you to create the new screen with the additional fields you want to manage, the allow you to call that screen from the tab group.

    Is this something that you have mocked up and want to create?

    I don't see how change the Notes tab in the Person context can help you record more information about the Opportunity.

    Thank you for responding!

    At the risk of sounding stupid how about adding a list to the notes tab under person entity?

    The attributes would be entered during the "Qualification" rule in workflow.

    I've looked through a lot of your posts but perhaps you could point me in the right direction (or tell me if I'm barking up the wrong tree!)

    Yes, this is something that I mocked up to represent what I would like to achieve.

    Apologies, it should have been for the notes tab on opportunity and linked to the opportunity workflow... Thanks for your consideration

    For anyone else looking for this, in the end I used the Key Attributes menu to create the client preferences and add them as a new tab under Person.
