Missing images on Administration - Customization screen

Hey guys,

I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure this out. I have a customer on CRM 7.1h and all of a sudden when you go to Administration - Customization the images are missing for Cases, Company, Lead, etc. Basically all of the primary entities except for custom ones. When clicking on the properties of the icons they are all pointing to /icons/Summary/table.gif instead of small_company.gif, small_person.gif, etc. Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm assuming it's something in the database but can't seem to find it...it's probably staring me right in the face, but I've been looking at it so long I can't see the forest for the trees. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks :-)

BTW, the images show up everywhere else (Right click Find menu, Content bar, etc). It's only missing in Administration - Customization.

    It seems like issue with the patch. Can you please upgrade the CRM to latest patch and check whether it is working or not?

    Thanks for the response. They are on 7.1h and we have other customers who are on that patch and don't have that issue. Any other suggestions?

    Is any other administrative feature changed? This has only happened to system primary entities? Do the security features work? Can you accesses the admin screens for territories and security profiles correctly?

    My hunch is that you may have knocked out a set of translations.

    If you have a look at your OpportunityLists do they report "XXX RecordFound" or "XXX Opportunities" - that would be a clear indication that there is an issue with translations.

    Have a look at the custom_captions tables at the most recently updated rows (use capt_updateddate). See if there is any commonality.

    Do a test patch on a backup of you system. If that fixes the problem then that is fine and dandy. But I think you will need to log a case with you local Sage office.

    No sir. Everything else seems fine. No other icons are missing. This has only happened to the system primary entities. All the security features seem to work. I went to the oppo list and it shows "9 Opportunities Found". I looked in the custom_captions and depending on how far you look back there were probably about 300 changes since Oct '13. There were only 68 changes since the beginning of the year. The problem is I'm not sure exactly when it started acting up, but I'm not seeing anything out of the ordinary in those 300 records. I may just have to upgrade them to the latest patch and hope that it fixes itself.
