CRM 2022 R2 change Authentification

Hello,

we are trying to use our Phone-Software (C4B) as CTI.

The Problem: The CRM Auth. works with an SSID. Is it posible to change the auhtentification otherwise the  Phonesoftware is not able to create a link?

    Is this for inbound calls and screen popping? 

    It would be nice to be able to grab the SID from an existing browser tab and use that to make a call to Sage CRM.  But unfortunately an application running in Windows cannot directly check if a specific URL is open in a browser tab or grab variable name/value pairs from that URL. Unless.... you can use the Chrome DevTools Protocol or WebDriver API to control the browser programmatically and retrieve information from open tabs?  I don't know about this but its an idea.

    Another way I know it has been done is to use a system tray application.  You could create a system tray application that prompts the user for a username and password, logs into Sage CRM using SOAP, retrieves a session ID (SID), and runs a "keep alive" routine to prevent the session from timing out.

    You could then always know where to get a valid Sage CRM SID that can then be used to build the calls to Sage CRM.

    Our system is CRM 2022 R2 and we have an escalation rule which when the condition is met is supposed to fire off an email. But when the email fires off no email is recorded within CRM. (and the email does not have 'do not file this communication' ticked...
