Sdata configuration issues

Hi there,

We found the same error in many Sage instances and I don't know how to fix it...

In ewaresystem.log we get the following error multiple times :

"

BrowseUrl URL: https://##_server_name__##/sdata/crmj/metadata/-/$service/refreshAll?MetadataVersion=&SID=189167350967285

The host name in the certificate is invalid or does not match : ERROR OPENING URL : <BR>12029

"

The IISRewrite seems correctly configured and in system behavior the parameters are set as :

  • "Custom server name for internal reqs" : "http://localhost"
  • "Send internal reqs to actual server name" : "No".

Does someone knows why it still try to reach sdata using HTTPS ?

I have the same issue on many installs that I have been trying to resolve without any luck.

I have logged a case with tech support.  Everything on the system checked out during my support call.  The recommendation was to do a complete uninstall and reinstall of the software which I have not had an opportunity to do.  Also, another user resolved the issue by copying a directory from an install without issues.  Since the time I was originally troubleshooting this, I have had several family emergenices pop up that required my attention.  Now those are behind me and I will be addressing this issue again this week.

Here is a link to my previous post about the issue in the community.  I don't think the post refers to the error message you are seeing...but the error message you posted is the same I have seen.

I will circle back if I resolve the issue on my end.
