Changes in the CommunicationList have no effect

Hello community,

In my demo (2020 R2) I would like to customize the list of communication in the company entry and add more columns.
However, changing the list (Administration → Customization → Communication → Communication List) has no effect.
I would like to add the comm_subject column to the list.

Screenshots are attached.

Does anyone have an idea what this could be?

    This is probably unlikely, and I don't have time to really explore this with you, but one quick thing you could test is to make a change to the Communication Grid, and then check the Company Comm's tab.  It's possible a prior customization pointed that tab to the Grid.

    Possibly not much help right now but version 2021 has inline customisation for lists as well as screens so this problem should be more easily solved.

    I was curious and checked an install of 2020R2 I am currently customising.

    The "Communication List" List is definitely the one that displays in the Communications tab out of the box.

    The comm_subject is also already included in the list on my system.

    I tested adding an additional field comm_bcc to the list and it works fine

    Looking at your screenshot the list of fields shown in your 2nd screenshot does not match the list of columns shown on the 3rd screenshot e.g. the User field is before the Territory field in the 2nd screenshot whereas on the Communications tab shown in the 3rd screenshot the user field is the last field in the columns.

    This makes me think there is some other customisation happening here.

    I notice also that your version of CRM is Sage 100 CRM which I'm sure doesn't make a difference but mine is just plain old Sage CRM.
