Feedback about html vs Word for templates

I would just like to register my frustration at having to use html for templates rather than Word. I understand that Sage went with the html option for version 7.1 because they 'didn't want to be dependent upon other software' for the delivery of their product. But what about what the customer wants?

99% of businesses use Word for documents because it meets the needs of the business. Now we have many businesses paying consultants to work out how to make the html templates work with tables (I know it's doable but it is a nightmare) and/or to add ActiveX to enable Word to still be used. And given that allowing ActiveX is like a nice little hole in your firewall / security, that's not going to happen any time soon in any business that has tight ITsecurity policies.

I would like Sage to seriously consider going back to the Word option for templates.
