Urgent Action Reminder for users of Sage E-marketing and Swiftpage

Less than one minute read time.

Sage E-marketing for Sage CRM was a feature that was powered by Swiftpage. Swiftpage customers will be aware that Swiftpage ended support for their emarketing system on March 31, 2019, and it is scheduled for retirement on June 30, 2019.

After this date, Swiftpage customers will no longer be able to access their Swiftpage emarketing account.

If you are a Sage CRM customer using the Swiftpage integration it is important to note that your contact lists and their preferences need to be downloaded while you still have access to them. You will need to contact Swiftpage and request your Opt-out and suppression lists in Excel format.

This is entirely a change in Swiftpage.

"Swiftpage emarketing End of Life Notice: In November of 2018, we introduced the Act! Growth Suite, which brings together the latest innovations in CRM with powerful Marketing Automation. As a part of this evolution, our email marketing and marketing automation focus moving forward will be centered around this new platform. As a result, Swiftpage emarketing will no longer be supported after March 31, 2019 and is scheduled for retirement on June 30, 2019. Customers currently using Swiftpage emarketing will be sent details on upgrade options and migration paths available to them. Thank you for your continued support."

But this Swiftpage is no longer an option for customers whether that want it integrated with Sage CRM or any other product.

  • Hi Jeff, does this just affect the Sage E-marketing add-in, so a site that takes on Swiftpage as their email marketing tool can continue to link Sage CRM to Swiftpage or does it mean only the Mailchimp integration is now the supported option?
