Sage CRM 2021: The integration between Sage CRM and Sage 300 (Part 1)

This is the first in a short series of articles that introduces the new version of the integration between one of Sage's best-loved accounting solutions and the sales, marketing and service functions of Sage CRM, our powerful fully featured CRM system.

Sage 300 is one of Sage's most widely sold accounting solutions across the world. Its home market is in North America but it has a strong customer base within Africa, Asia, and Australia and New Zealand. Over the years its technology and processes have evolved to create a streamlined and efficient solution for small to mid-market companies with up to several hundred users.

There is strong local and international support provided through an extensive business partner network and with the continued improvement of the integration between Sage CRM and Sage 300 we have seen considerable partner and customer engagement.

These articles will discuss the design, architecture and technology of the new integration and will look at the features provided.

The benefits of the new integration

A customer using integrated CRM can use the data from their accounting system directly within their sales, marketing and customer services processes.

The screens using in the integration are based on modern technology and the fresh interface of the integration is easy to use; the UI is certainly clean. The learning curve for both implementers and users should be short. There is now no worrying about differentiating between web deploy screens and the portal.

The key to the integration is the Sage 300 web screens and ensuring communication between the Sage 300 and Sage CRM servers. The integration has a simple architecture and is straightforward in terms of setup.
