Note:

  1. Only upgrade directly from versions on the list. Other upgrade paths are not tested and are NOT supported.
  2. Support for 2018 R1, R2, R3 will end on 30th September 2021. To upgrade from an earlier version of Sage CRM, please first upgrade to one of the versions listed here.
  3. Computer telephony integration (CTI) was removed from Sage CRM 2021 R1 and is no longer supported. If you have CTI installed in a previous Sage CRM version, upgrading to 2021 R2 completely removes CTI.

We have added support for the following SQL Server versions:

Microsoft SQL Server 2019 with Cumulative Update 10 and earlier
Microsoft SQL Server 2017 with Cumulative Update 24 and earlier

Sage CRM 2021 R2 now supports Android 11.

Sage CRM no longer supports the Android 9 Pie version of the Android operating system.

Sage announced in December 2020 that it had decided to end the development of the Sage CRM iPhone and Android Apps.

The CRM iPhone and Android Apps have been removed from their respective marketplaces. Customers who already have the App may continue to use it, but the Apps will no longer be supported, and may no longer work after the operating system of the phone is updated.

Note: This is only the Mobile Apps and development for the Sage CRM Mobile Theme continues.

I hope this is of help as you plan your upgrade.
